Alexa Rodica, APRN

Alexa is the founder and lead injector at AR Aesthetics. She received her bachelors in nursing from the University of South Florida and her Masters of Science in Nursing from South University. Her passion in aesthetics began with 6 years in the operating room, where she worked heavily in plastic surgery.

When starting her own practice in 2020, Alexa wanted to address the face as a whole instead of focusing on one area in particular. She began focusing on profile balancing and non-surgical rhinoplasties and was one of the first in Florida to begin this treatment.

When discussing patient concerns she wanted to create an individualized plan for each patient addressing skin changes to volume loss for a perfectly balanced and harmonized result.

Ahmed Ibrahim, MD, PhD

Medical Director & Plastic Surgeon

Dr Ahmed Ibrahim is a Double Fellowship Trained Cosmetic Surgeon with years of experience in aesthetic medicine, who serves as the Medical Director for AR Aesthetics. He specializes in aesthetics of the face and neck including injectables, laser treatments, and high-end office-based facial cosmetic surgery. He also performs nonsurgical body lifts, skin cancer removal and reconstruction, and outpatient burn care.

Following graduation from medical school with honors, Dr Ibrahim completed a four-year Research Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the distinguished Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital. During this time, he also obtained his PhD through Erasmus University Rotterdam, an institution ranked in the top 3% of best universities in the world. He subsequently completed a surgical internship at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School, received Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, and completed a prestigious subspecialty fellowship in Burn Surgery and Wound Care at Nassau University Medical Center under the supervision of the Long Island Plastic Surgical Group, the oldest and largest private and academic plastic surgery practice in the United States. He furthered his education with an additional fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Florida.

To date Dr Ibrahim has contributed to over 80 publications in the top peer-reviewed plastic surgery and scientific journals. In addition, he has written book chapters, and given oral and poster presentations at the leading plastic surgery conferences. Currently, he is a reviewer for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the premier journal in the field. Furthermore, owing to his passion for teaching, and commitment to educating the next generation of doctors, he serves as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr Ibrahim is passionate about delivering personalized care that revolves around the patient’s needs. He prioritizes attentive listening to understand individual concerns and ensures comprehensive education on treatment choices aimed at helping patients achieve their desired look and feel.

Amanda Albanese APRN

Advanced Aesthetic Injector

Amanda is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s Degree in Family Health. She is nationally certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She came to AR having prior experience in aesthetic medicine and has over ten plus years of experience working in healthcare. Highlights of her previous experience include being charge nurse on the cardiac unit and working in neurosurgery as a certified operating room registered nurse.

Amanda is specialized in minimally invasive aesthetic treatments and prides herself on taking a holistic approach when treating her clients. She is meticulous when it comes to assessing her clients goals and creating appropriate treatment plans to enhance their own natural beauty. She is skilled in the use of botox, fillers, lasers, and skincare.

Amanda is very passionate about continuing her education to ensure she is using the latest scientific data to provide safe, beautiful, and efficacious results for all of her clients.

I have always had a passion for skin care and the beauty industry ever since I was a little girl – I used to set up a “spa” in my house where I would analyze my family’s faces and apply face masks for fun.

My mom taught me the importance of washing my face every morning & night and using good skin care. It stuck with me ever since and doing my skin care routine became something I looked forward to doing. I quickly became obsessed with anything aesthetics, especially skin care and knew it was my passion.

I graduated from Arizona State University and jumped right into aesthetican school to start my career. I love attending seminars and conferences to stay up to date with the latest in the industry.

Helping someone feel confident and beautiful in their own skin is the most important thing to me and it truly is the best feeling! Connecting with my clients and building trusting relationships means so much and is a huge part of why I love what I do.

Elise attended Beauty and Health Institute where she gained her aesthetician and electrolysis license. Elise was inspired to pursue a career in aesthetics after struggling with acne her whole life. Her passion is to make others feel like their best self. In each treatment she performs, she strives to help others feel comfortable and beautiful in their own skin.

Whether a client has specific skin concerns or wants to maintain healthy complexion, Elise believes that monthly maintenance is crucial for everyone. She starts each treatment with a consultation to determine what plan of action will be best for your skin. Each treatment plan is customized according to your skin goals and concerns. Her favorite treatments include a combination of Hydrafacial with dermaplanning and for deeper tissue remodeling of the skin, Morpheus8.

Kirsten Simmermeyer

Permanent Makeup Artist

Kirsten is a permanent cosmetics and makeup technician as well as an esthetician. Previously a traditional tattoo artist, she completed an 8-month apprenticeship with extensive training for permanent cosmetics at the age of 25, as well as secondary courses in Microblading. She is also a self-taught artist, who loves working with a variety of mediums in arts, having taken various courses in Fine Arts in college. These skills have helped Kirsten thrive in the Permanent Makeup Industry (PMU). Continuing education in the latest techniques and trends is a passion. She is licensed in the state of Florida and fully compliant with Florida’s Health Department and Regulations.
